The forest can’t defend itself

In Dec 2013, Resolute had three of its Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certificates for forest management, covering an area 127 times the size of the city of Toronto, suspended because the company failed to meet a number of key FSC principles, including the free and informed consent of First Nations, the protection of woodland caribou and adequate conservation of old growth forests.
