The worst Alberta oil spill in 35 years dumped about 4.5 million litres of oil into a wetland area at Evi, Alberta, near the community of Little Buffalo in Lubicon Cree First Nation traditional territory in the Peace River region, Alberta, Canada. Rainbow Pipeline is owned by Plains Midstream Canada, a Canadian subsidiary of Houston-based Plains All American Pipeline L.P.
