Energy [R]evolution: A Sustainable World Energy Outlook

This report provides a blueprint showing how to apply existing technologies to halve global CO2 emissions by 2050, whilst allowing for an increase in energy consumption. The report is divided into 10 regional reports, with a global summary. It demonstrates how a 'business as usual' scenario is not an option if we are to attain a secure and stable energy supply.

Global Report

The global report sets out a blueprint for a sustainable energy future,contrasting a 'business as usual' and a 'smart' energy scenario. TheEnergy [R]evolution shows how a secure energy future is possible withexisting technologies.

The report was commissioned by Greenpeace International and theEuropean Renewable Energy Council (EREC), and produced by theDepartment of Systems Analysis and Technology Assessment at the GermanAerospace Centre (DLR).
