Solar energy

Millions already use solar power and the potential is virtually infinite.

The proportion of the sun’s rays that reaches the Earth’s surface is enough to provide for global energy consumption 10,000 times over. Solar power can be used to directly produce electricity. It can also be used for heating and cooling. Today, more than 29 million homes around the world use some form of solar power.
