Climate change is one of the key campaigns for Greenpeace in Canada and around the world. As with all of our environmental campaigns, Greenpeace works on a number of levels to address the devastating advance of global climate change.

A big part of our job is bringing home to people everywhere the realities of climate. Our expeditions document the impacts of climate change on people and ecosystems. Our professional negotiators, scientists and policy experts attend world climate conferences  and persuade decision makers to take action.  Our volunteers and cyberactivists keep up the pressure on lawmakers and corporations.  Peaceful direct action is also a big part of Greenpeace's work to protect our environment. Our activists put themselves on the line for even the smallest chance to change the world.
