Radioactive tritium is being released into the environment at the highest rates in the world by Canada's nuclear reactors.
Last year, Greenpeace published a report by a British scientist Dr. Ian Fairlie that outlined recent scientific evidence showing tritium to be more hazardous than previously thought.
In response, the Ontario government asked its drinking water advisory council to review Greenpeace's report and make recommendations on revising the province's tritium standards.
This council is now asking Ontarians whether the government should tighten tritium standards. Tell them yes!
