Greenpeace stands for positive change through action. We work on the issues we see as fundamental to the health of our planet and its inhabitants: climate change, ancient forests, oceans, sustainable agriculture, toxics and nuclear disarmament.
Our environmental campaigns are characterized by our absolute commitment to independent action. Greenpeace does not solicit funds from governments or corporations. In fact, if we receive a large cheque from a company, we return it. Our fierce independence allows us to take on polluters without fear of financial reprisals.
