Greenpeace stands for positive change through action.  We work on the issues we see as fundamental to the health of our planet and its inhabitants: climate change, ancient forests, oceans, sustainable agriculture, toxics and nuclear disarmament.

Our environmental campaigns are characterized by our absolute commitment to independent action.  Greenpeace does not solicit funds from governments or corporations.  In fact, if we receive a large cheque from a company, we return it.  Our fierce independence allows us to take on polluters without fear of financial reprisals.

Our supporters play a critical role in this work.  Every day our talented frontline fundraisers hit the streets, knock on doors and get on the phones with a passion to raise money for the important issues Greenpeace is working on.

Currently we are looking for people to join our frontline fundraising team to work as Direct Dialogue Fundraisers and as Bi-lingual Telephone Fundraisers.  We offer an exciting environment where you can work with other people who are helping to make a difference in the world.

Shifts are available Monday through Saturday.   Part-time employees work five to nine shifts every two weeks.   Full time employees work 10 shifts every two weeks.

As a Direct Dialogue Fundraiser you will approach members of the public to ask them to support Greenpeace through a monthly giving program. All fundraisers are paired with someone else each day. A Team leader oversees each team. They are there to motivate, guide, see to your safety and do minor administration. Almost all our work sites are accessible by public transit. The hours of work are: 4:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.   Positions are available in our Toronto, Hamilton, Montreal and Vancouver offices.

As a Bi-lingual Telephone Fundraiser you will make calls to French and English speaking Greenpeace donors and ask them strengthen their existing contributions, reactivate lapsed memberships and provide information about the organization’s activities.  The hours of work are: 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Positions are available in our downtown Toronto office.
