Mediterranean Sea, Arctic Sunrise - crew of the Arctic Sunrise
confiscate a length of illegal driftnet from the Italian fishing
vessel Diomede II, fishing off the coast of Sicily in the
Mediterranean Sea. Greenpeace has called on the Italian coastguard to
confiscate the remaining net and seize the vessel's catch. The Arctic
Sunrise is currently in the Mediterranean as part of a three-month
ship tour, tackling threats to the sea and promoting marine reserves
to protect the health and productivity of the Mediterranean.

Greenpeace volunteer Tanith Carrington in the process of planting a
tree as part of the Greenpeace reforestation activity on Landcorp
land, near Taupo. Over 30 Greenpeace volunteers replanted over 1000
trees on land cleared for dairy farming.

7 January 2008: Greenpeace boat driver Heath Hanson leans over to
glance at a humpback whale near an inflatable boat at the Antarctic
ice edge in the Southern Ocean. Greenpeace is carrying out non-lethal
research on whale populations in the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary
from their ship, Esperanza, while en-route to stop the Japanese
whaling fleet killing 935 minke and 50 endangered fin whales.

Greenpeace pystytti Tampereen Bauhausin eteen neljä suurta eläinhahmoa
symboloimaan trooppisten metsäalueiden katoamisen myötä
uhanalaistuneita eläinlajeja. Greenpeacen vapaaehtoiset merkitsivät
1.11.2007 sademetsäpuulajeista tehtyjä tuotteita varoitustarroilla 18
eri paikkakunnalla Etelä-Suomessa, kuuden eri rautakauppaketjun
kaupoissa.

Greenpeacen aktivistit nousivat vuorokauden sisällä toistamiseen
Atlantic Osprey -alukselle sen purjehtiessa Tanskan ja Ruotsin
välisellä merialueella kohti Sellafieldiä lastinaan 4,8 tonnia
ruotsalaista ydinjätettä. Ydinjätteen sälyttäminen Iso-Britannian
huoleksi on Ruotsin omien lakien vastaista ja rikkoo 20 vuotta
kestänyttä periaatetta, jonka mukaan Ruotsi ei jälleenkäsittele
ydinjätettä.

Newcastle, Sunday 2 September 2007: Greenpeace activists enter the
world's biggest coal port and paint the message "Australia Pushing
Export Coal" on the side of a coal ship. The message was part of a
peaceful protest to expose the Howard Government's real APEC agenda:
to protect Australia's coal export industry by undermining the Kyoto
