Activists from Greenpeace hung two huge banners on the High Level Bridge in Edmonton, demanding an end to the exploitation fo the Alberta Tar Sands. Suspended more than 40 meters above the North Saskatchewan River, activists mobilized to send a clear message and educate politicians at the opening of the Alberta legislature.
