Greenpeace mascot P. Bear went to Parliament Hill this week as Parliament resumed sitting, to ask one question and deliver some answers.

Greenpeace activists joined P. Bear on Parliament Hill to ask PrimeMinister Harper whether his government intends to meet Canada'scommitments under the Kyoto Protocol. P Bear, the overstuffed Greenpeace mascot, lounged in a garden chair in front of Parliament Hill with a placard that read "What about Kyoto?"
Today marks the beginning ofhearings on the Harper government's "Clean Air Act".
P. Bear also took this opportunity todeliver to parliamentarians a report entitled ' Energy [R]evolution: ASustainable World Energy Outlook'. The report, produced by Greenpeaceand the European Renewable Energy Council, provides a blueprint for howto cut global greenhouse gas emissions in half over the next 43 years,while providing a secure and affordable energy supply and maintainingeconomic development.
