The most important climate conference ever starts December 7 in Copenhagen. Now is the time to ramp up pressure to stop the tar sands.
New video mash up sends the message to politicians: Stop the Tar Sands

In Copenhagen, world leaders must agree to cut the world's
greenhouse gas emissions significantly to avoid the human tragedies
that will come with climate chaos. For Canada, a serious effort to
cut greenhouse gas emissions means stopping the tar sands.
Greenpeace has been at the forefront of efforts to expose the
climate crimes of the tar sands. In September and October,
Greenpeace pulled off four actions in Alberta against the tar
sands.
Get involved: Here's what you can
do:
Sign the KYOTOplus petition. KYOTOplus is
mobilizing Canadians to demand action on climate change. That would
mean action on the tar sands. Greenpeace and 100 groups have
already delivered the signatures of 100,000 Canadians to Prime
Minister Harper. We will present tens of thousands more in
Copenhagen.

Starting next week thousands of people around the world will take
action to push for climate justice and stand up for those most
directly affected by the climate crisis.
Autonomous affinity groups are now forming across Canada.
From November 30 to December 12, creative protests from Victoria
to Montreal will tell elected officials and industry leaders to
stop stalling Canada's response to the climate crisis. These
unprecedented actions will focus attention on ensuring that
Canada's leaders fulfill our obligations to the world.
Please help us put pressure on Ottawa to take action on climate
change by
signing our KYOTOplus petition.
