Welcome to Wind Guangdong; A Greenpeace vision for a cleaner greener China.

China is in a position to become a world leader in wind power according to the new Greenpeace report Wind Guandong. World wind energy experts, Garrad Hassan, conclude in the report that there is enough wind power potential in Guandong province in southern China, that by 2020, the region could feasibly produce enough energy from wind turbines to meet the equivalent of Hong Kong's total electricity supply or all of Guangzhou city's demand. It is also equivalent to 17% of all the electricity used Guangdong Province every year.
