If you read Chinese you can download our guidebook for pollution victims (pdf).

It instructs those people who believe their home or village is being harmed by industrial pollution how to collect evidence, and how to contact and tell their story to media and the government.

If you read Chinese you can download our booklet on how to apply to the government for environmental information on a factory (pdf).

Add information or just research our cancer village map (Chinese only, but you may submit comments in English).

This Google map collects information on villages where incidences of cancer are much higher than the national average. Many people suspect this abnormally high cancer incidence is linked to industrial pollution.

Our Greenpeace China toxics campaigners came up with a few simple ideas you can do to help reduce water pollution.

Use toxic-free household cleaning products.

Save water!

Reduce the amount of rubbish you produce. A lot of water pollution comes from the waste that we throw away. Buy less, use less!
As well as reporting it to Greenpeace, also report cases of water pollution to the government environment hotline:12369.
Don't throw things like paint or chemicals down the sink. Find ways to dispose of them properly so they don't contaminate the water system.
