Because when governments meet in just three weeks in Copenhagen for a crucial UN climate conference, the US is a key country.
Climate change is global problem and it needs a global solution.
But Obama's progress on climate change has been more than disappointing.
Industrial countries need to rein in carbon emissions by at least 25% by 2020 over 1990 levels.
So far, the best Obama has put on the table is a paltry 4 to 7%.
The world needs leadership from Obama if it is stop climate change.
President Obama. Be a climate leader.
It's that simple.
