Forest fight from the top of a crane |
| |
Four of our activists hoisted themselves up the crane of a ship that was loaded with illegally-logged rainforest timber in Papua New Guinea. They hung there for more than 55 hours to stop the ship taking off with its illegal cargo and to protest criminal deforestation. The logs were bound for China, the largest market for Papua New Guinean timber. |
