An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a persuasive, personable and highly motivated Campaigner to join Greenpeace, the world's most iconic and determined campaigning charity.

Greenpeace East Asia is looking for a highly motivated team member to develop, plan, implement and coordinate creative campaigns, including innovative use of online tools and strategies, to drive sustainable development and create positive change.

 

Core duties will include:

  • Provide campaign expertise with respect to a specialized campaign issue. Stay abreast of the latest development and maintain liaison with key stakeholders.
  • Represent Greenpeace in front of traditional and new media to expose environmental problems and advocate for positive solutions.
  • Work with project teams across Greenpeace offices to develop and implement strategic online-to-offline campaigns. Craft email, social media and other web content to support campaigns.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of working experience in related fields;
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, and local language of the region where the position is based;
  • Strong strategic, research and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work unsupervised, in a rapidly changing, highly-pressure environment;
  • Commitment to, and demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team;
  • Commitment to the mission, principles and values of Greenpeace.
