Greenpeace is an international non-profit campaigning organization. We investigate and expose local and global environmental problems, confront those in position of power and present alternative solutions.


You will be responsible for telling compelling stories of our local and international campaigns through our digital and social media platforms and inspire more people to join in support for our campaigns and the organisation.


Core duties include:

  • §  Create compelling digital content including videos, graphics, articles, etc. for use on social media;
  • §  Implement, and in some cases develop, creative digital plan for promotion of local and international Greenpeace campaigns and fundraising work;
  • §  Work in project teams to develop and implement creative ideas for digital engagement with existing and potential supporters;
  • §  Work with vendors, consultants and contractors to deliver the proposed digital outputs;
  • §  Monitor external trends, liaise with external parties including key opinion leaders and online communities and actively identify opportunities to further Greenpeace's messages;
  • §  Day-to-day management of the social media channels ranging from implementation of campaign promotion, insight monitoring to responding user's enquiry.


  • §  At least 2 years of experience in digital content creation and / or campaigning
  • §  Background in digital marketing, creative agency, journalism or advocacy group highly preferred;
  • §  Solid experience and expertise in social media management (Facebook, Instagram, etc.);
  • §  Working knowledge and skills in multimedia content production for social media use;
  • §  Sensitivity to current affairs / hot news and ability to work in a face-paced environment;
  • §  Creative mind and ability to adopt cutting-edge technology and tactics for digital channels;
  • §  Excellent interpersonal communication skills and demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team;
  • §  Passion for environmental issues and commitment to core values of Greenpeace;
  • §  Excellent copywriting skills and command of written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English.
