Drought affects the most vulnerable in China

Heimajing Village, Awang Township, Dongchuan District, Yunnan. 68 year old Xiuying Du is digging carrots to feed pigs. She and her sister-in-law planted carrot seeds but after a year the carrots are still only a finger's size. The drought is another chilling reminder of what climate change has in store for the whole globe unless we revolutionise the way we make and use energy.
