Fighting the suppression of anti-nuke voices in Korea

Greenpeace East Asia nuclear campaigner Pino Lee, People's Solidarity for Participatory Democracy (PSPD) International Solidarity Committee coordinator, Gayoon Baek, and lawyers address journalists at the Seoul Central District Court late last year, before submitting a complaint against the South Korean government for repeatedly denying Greenpeace staff entry to the country. Last week we agreed to settle the lawsuit with an understanding that the Ministry would take positive measures including the end of its denial of entry against Greenpeace campaigners.
