MY Esperanza Arrives In Taiwan

Captain Jose Barbal-Badia embraces a child from Yan Cheng Elementary school in Kaohsiung after receiving pictures drawn by local schoolchildren. Hundreds of children from elementary schools across Taiwan produced the drawings expressing their wishes for a future of healthy oceans and ample marine resources. Greenpeace's Esperanza is in Taiwan for a 2-week long ship tour calling for marine conservation measures. Greenpeace is urging Taiwan’s Fisheries Agency to support sustainable fishing policies.
