Testing chromium waste polluted water in Yunnan

A Greenpeace team headed to two chromium waste piles in Yunnan to test the local water quality. One sample gave results over 20 times the recommended safety level. In 2005 there were at least 41 piles of chromium waste across 19 provinces, totaling at least four million tons.
