X-Ray near Coal-Fired Plant in China

This disposal site does not have any safeguards – not even retaining walls – to protect against coal ash dispersal or leakage. With even the lightest wind, the tiny particles of the ash take flight, blotting out the sky like a thick sandstorm of ash. This is highly hazardous to people, as the fine particles are easily inhaled.
