Seoul Mayor Park Woon Soon met with Greenpeace International Executive Director Kumi Naidoo and Greenpeace East Asia Campaign Director Shi Peng Xiang

Seoul, South Korea, 2012 April 2 - Seoul Mayor Park Woon Soon met with Greenpeace International Executive Director Kumi Naidoo and Greenpeace East Asia Campaign Director Shi Peng Xiang who were visiting South Korea to promote an upcoming visit by its ship 'MY Esperanza'. Naidoo was granted permission to enter the country, but three other Greenpeace East Asia senior staff members were not, and were deported without reason. Greenpeace is demanding a meeting with the Ministry of Justice regarding the deportation, which it believes are connected to its anti-nuclear campaigning.
