Robert Knoth and Antoinette de Jong visited the Fukushima region with Greenpeace in the autumn of 2011 to bear witness to the effects wrought on the region by the nuclear fallout from the triple meltdown at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant. Each photo captures the eerie beauty of a region left in limbo as radioactive fallout permeates all aspects of life.
