Dear member,
I’m sure you’ve been following our mighty forests campaign this year. Within six months Greenpeace has already got two big companies, Mattel, the Barbie manufacturer and Lego, to rip up their contracts with APP, an Indonesian pulp and paper conglomerate that is illegally destroying rainforest in the region which is killing off endangered animals such as the Sumatran tiger and orangutan.

Now we bring you more good news. Hasbro, famous for those transformer toys and Monopoly, has just pledged to stop buying paper from APP. And it's you who helped us make this happen!

Which is better? Nokia or Apple?
It’s not just about the look and the functions on offer. When you buy a new phone or laptop, you should also know which product is better for the environment. Greenpeace has just released the latest "Greenpeace Guide to Greener Electronics" which will help you make the right decision, such as whether to stick with Sony or give Lenovo a go.
