A huge thank you from us to YOU for helping us to get the world's largest clothing retailer, ZARA, to commit to toxic-free fashion!
IN JUST 9 DAYS we collected over 300,000 supporters across the world to ask ZARA to DETOX. In the past week, more than 700 Greenpeace volunteers in 80 cities staged actions outside ZARA stores.
And we did it! ZARA joins some other big brands such as Adidas, Nike, Puma, H&M, and M&S in committing to phase out toxic chemicals during their production processes. This marks a major milestone for the fashion industry.
It will work like a domino effect. One company makes a commitment, forcing all the other top firms to follow suit. But it is imperative that we keep pushing.
More companies must recognize and act upon the urgency of the situation before our work will be done. And we need your help. Please consider a donation to help our toxics work today!
You've once again proved the real strength of people power. Keep your eyes peeled for our next newsletter for the latest developments on this fast-running campaign. Thank you for your support!
