Thanks to your wonderful support so far, several major brands have committed to Detox already. However, our most recent investigation on 20 famous brands, including ZARA, Levi's, ESPRIT, and GAP, is just out and has uncovered even more kinds of hazardous chemicals associated with fast fashion.
Dear supporter, welcome to Greenpeace's latest newsletter 中 文 版 本

Have you noticed how fast fashion is these days? New lines are out for only one or two months before there's some new style just in.
Fast fashion is all about cutting down on manufacturing costs and shortening the fashion cycle just so fashion retailers can persuade you to buy more clothes. The true cost of this fashion cycle is that suppliers are forced to cut costs and pollute more. When we buy these new clothes, we at the same time unwittingly pollute the environment and destroy other people's livelihoods.
You can take action. Please join us in asking ZARA to Detox now!

Don't blame the tiger for killing my son
When a young man, 18-year-old Ahmad, was farming with his father near his village in Indonesia, a tiger came out of the forest and killed him.
His father, who was right beside his son when the tiger attacked, said he did not blame the tiger. Ahmad’s father said his village has lived alongside the tigers for many years with no problem. It was only when companies moved in to wantonly destroy the rainforest that the tigers had been forced from their home and had started to appear.
