Mid-September is usually a heartbreaking time for the Arctic, because the sea ice is melting in free fall, reaching new historic lows. But this year, we’re going to mark it with a celebration instead. Our movement of millions has taken the first steps to protect this incredible place. We will continue fighting and growing -- and we will succeed.
In conjunction with our Save the Arctic campaign, on September 15th we’ll be holding the event along with 75 cities in 31 countries across the planet, all of us riding our bicycles to encourage the use of clean energy, reduce fossil fuel use, mitigate climate change, and save our precious Arctic together.

Date: 15th September 2013 (Sunday)
Time: 08:30-12:00
Distance: 12km (Chater Road Central to Java Road and then return to Chater Road Central)
Number of participants: 300 people (based on first come first served basis)
Deadline for registration: 11th September 2013 or when the total number of participants has been reached.

This February, the world’s second biggest pulp and paper group Asia Pulp & Paper (APP) released a new forest conservation policy. This was a marvelous achievement after 10 years of Greenpeace campaigning and with the help of YOU. Over the last six months we have kept a close eye on APP to see whether it was honoring its pledges or not. Let’s see how they did…
