Greenpeace wishes you a happy green holiday
At this festive time of year, many of us want to go shopping for party dresses for our loved little ones. If you're thinking of this, you should take a look at the latest investigation from our Detox campaign, especially if you do shopping through e-commerce platforms. You may also find a brief "Guide to Buying Children's Clothing" at the end of our report.
Our investigation discovered that children's garments made in China's biggest kid's wear manufacturing towns contain hormone disruptors and chemicals that are toxic to the reproductive system. Products from these towns are being sold to both domestic and international markets, through traditional and the increasingly popular e-commerce platforms.

Amnesty for our activists, but no amnesty for the Arctic
Amnesty for our activists, but
no amnesty for the Arctic
The Arctic 30 have been granted amnesty and soon they will return home to their families. We're relieved, but we're not celebrating. The Arctic 30 spent two months in jail for a crime they didn't commit. The charges should never have been brought in the first place.
And the fight is not over. Peter Willcox, captain of the Arctic Sunrise, said: "There's no amnesty for the Arctic. We may soon be home, but the Arctic remains a fragile global treasure under assault by oil companies and the rising temperatures they're driving."
