This book takes a look decade by decade, at Greenpeace's rich and varied history and our many achievements; from the island of Amchitka to the Arctic Circle, and from the very depths of the oceans to the summits of smokestacks. There are features on our major victories and many of our ships, and articles on key events in each decade, including the Rainbow Warrior bombing and the Brent Spar campaign. There's also a look at the advent of social networking and its importance to Greenpeace's ongoing campaign successes. Contributors include Greenpeace's unofficial historian Rex Weyler, and GPI Communications' Head of Photography, John Novis, and Bill Darnell, one of our founders, introduces the book.
