With 2030 climate and energy policy an increasingly important agenda item, Greenpeace and the European Renewable Energy Council would like to invite you to the launch of the Energy [R]evolution report, a detailed assessment of how the EU can make the transition to an energy system made up of nearly 100 percent renewables by 2050.
A progressive transition would deliver true energy security, cost savings for consumers and businesses alike, while stemming climate change and creating 1.4 million jobs by 2020.
Who: Speakers Frederic Thoma, Sven Teske (Greenpeace) and Josche Muth (EREC) will discuss the report’s main findings and their political and economic implications.
Where: Passage Room, Residence Palace, Rue de la Loi 155.
When: Wednesday 24 October at 09:30.
Breakfast will be provided. Please RSVP by replying with the word ‘confirmed’ in the title.
