Regional Digital Fundraiser for Greenpeace CEE

Greenpeace Central and Eastern Europe is looking for a talented and motivated Digital Fundraiser, willing to prepare parts of and roll out a digital fundraising strategy in our offices within the CEE region (e.g. Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, and Slovenia).


  • Professional
    • At least 3 years of working experience in Digital Fundraising or eCommerce/Online marketing – you’re eager and have fun raising money via digital channels, especially via Facebook marketing (audiences & ads management) and newsletter marketing (automated workflows); education in economics is a big plus
    • Good project management skills – especially in self-priorisation and working with freelancers in different working areas (e.g. web designers, developers) in various countries
    • Basic technical skills – you know how to handle a good range of digital tools including ads manager, CMSes as well donation and lead generation services
    • Basic experience with user journeys – you know pros and cons about different touchpoints in digital user journeys
    • Basic sense of visual aesthetics – you can differentiate personal and mainstream taste regarding colours, text styling and photo choices
    • Fluent English (written and spoken) – your native language is one of those spoken in our CEE region, speaking more than one of our CEE languages is an advantage.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Research parts of as well as implementing a provided concept around digital fundraising within the CEE region, with a first focus on getting necessary technical setups and digital legal environments ready
  • Managing multilingual websites within our CMS with a focus on getting translations and managing local differences in technical setups
  • Rolling out and optimizing Facebook ads and newsletter workflows in multiple languages as main traffic drivers
  • Defining workflows and necessary preparations to scale the approach in future
