Energy [R]evolution Bihar

Set in backdrop of year 2012, declared as the year for sustainable energy, by United Nations (UN), the international Renewable Energy business conference brought the global perspectives on driving investment and various other frameworks for development of decentralised renewable energy and energy access model in the country.

Greenpeace also released the report, “e[r] cluster” for a smart energy access – the role of micro-grids in promoting the integration of Renewable Energy, during the conference.

Greenpeace organised the International Renewable Energy Business Conference,“Energy [R]evolution Bihar” on May 15, 2012 in Hotel Maurya, Patna. The conference witnessed active involvement of prominent Indian and international delegates from financial institutions, renewable energy developers, policy think-tanks, investors, bilateral agencies, industry associations, and civil society representatives.
