Become a Fool for Forests

Video | June 22, 2011

Our government wants to mine coal in the last remaining forests of Central and Eastern India. Those who want to save the forests are being called 'foolish'.

Greenpeace India volunteers are not ashamed of being fools for forests. In this video made by them, they decalre their love for forests and and ask others to join them.

Forests are being threatened by coal mining. The government plans to mine coal in the forests of Central and Eastern India. A lot of communities and wildlife depend on these forests. Those who want to save the forests are being called fools. Rather be foolish and save our forests than be smart and lose all of them.
