Right now, Bharti Airtel is listening to a broadcast of all the messages asking Chairman Sunil Mittal to switch off dirty diesel. Bharti Airtel has been ignoring the demands asking it to go renewable.
Earlier we painted the message across their head office in Gurgaon. Now we are playing the same message outside their group head-office. Over 62,000 people have signed this petition asking Airtel to switch off dirty diesel. More signatures on the petition will help put more pressure on the country.

UPDATE:Airtel senior representatives met our campaigner and promised to have another meeting to discuss timelines for phase out of diesel BUT they are not willing to give this commitment in writing.
Our activists continue to stay at their HQ until they respond The activists have been taken away by the Police after Airtel refused to give us the commitment to clean up their diesel use.
