CLIMATE CHANGE is erratic shifts in weather patterns that occur due to global warming. Its effects include sea level rise, glacial melt, changes in rainfall, as well as calamities such as droughts, floods, heat waves and cyclones. All these can combine to result in lower agricultural yields, extinction of various species, as well as drastic increase of tropical diseases.
