The International Executive Director is responsible for day-to-day management of Greenpeace International, and line manages the Senior Management Team.

The Senior Management Team comprises Directors who are individually in charge of specific areas of the daily operations: Programme & Issues including the campaign areas, internet campaigning, science, research and political & business divisions; Communications  with media and images; the monitoring of National and Regional office performance and Fundraising, the Operational division including actions support and the ships, the Organisational division with Human Resources, Finance, Legal, IT and Facilities management
