June 4 - Student activism skillshare

June 5-7 - Alternative Summit

The Alternative Summit is jointly organised by a variety of organizations, including Greenpeace, Friends of the Earth, Attac, Oxfam, and many others.

The summit offers an alternative view on G8-related matters. It will feature international speakers, film, comedy, debate, and more….

A concert, dubbed "Music and Messages," will be held.

June 6-8

The G8 summit will run from June 6 to 8. The leaders will meet up in a hotel on a peninsula in Heiligendamm.

Logistics

For the camp, special tickets will be sold for € 5 a night per person. Tickets are valid during the protest days. There will also be kitchen teams to provide food. Prices are set as donation. In addition, plenty of information points will be set up in the place to help people find their way around.

During the demonstration, buses will stay at "Schlutuper Kreuz" until the activity has finished. On our way from the harbour to the camp, participants can take the trams.
