Greenpeace campaigners wrote to a pile of IT chiefs, inviting them to the climate leadership challenge. So far only these companies have responded: Sharp, Fujitsu, Microsoft and Nokia. We believe that public pressure can make them, and hopefully many other industry leaders, rise to the challenge.

Some things you can do:

  • Contact an IT chief: Learn more about the campaign, and head over to Cisco's blog to leave them a comment. Cisco's CEO, John Chambers, could be our first IT climate leader.
  • Read frequently asked questions about the campaign.
  • Blog about this this campaign, and anything related you know about top IT company bosses (e.g. google for things they've said about climate change, leadership, and corporate social responsibility).
  • If you use tags with your blog, include "climateleaders" and "greenpeacebuzz" for your post to appear on our Bloggers' Centre page.
  • Comment about the leadership challenge on company blogs which are relevant. Example: Cisco.
  • Add http://www.greenpeace.org/climateleaders to your del.icio.us, furl or other social bookmarking sites.
  • Digg it, mixx it, you-know-what it.
  • Add information and links about this campaign to relevant Wikipedia entries.
  • Create a video or a game about the campaign.
  • Change your email signature to link here: http://www.greenpeace.org/climateleaders
