Call for all Musicians

We know that Beethoven’s 5th Symphony stimulates the subconscious brain in ways that promote creativity and help the brain to think better; we are using it to inspire people to fight climate change.

If you’re a musician, or you know how to play an instrument, or you know a musician, or even if all you can do is hum or whistle, you can help deliver the message.

Instructions

  • Perform the first two minutes and 40 seconds of the first movement (before horns start).
  • Play in your own style, with your favourite instrument.
  • Make a video of your performance.
  • Post your video on Youtube as a video response to our video.
  • Ideally, tell us where your video was shot using the "Date and Map" option on YouTube, so your video appears on our around-the-world map.

We'll edit a selection of the best submissions together (you could be sharing a virtual stage with a real rock star) and we’ll deliver the final video to the G8 delegates. The more clips we have from all over the world, the stronger the message to world leaders will be: Climate Action Now!
