The UK's first wind farm in the Irish Sea which will supply 50,000 homes with power.

The 9th Conference of the Parties (COP9) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) took place in December 2003 in Milan, Italy. The Framework Convention was agreed at the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1992, and has since been ratified by 188 countries. Its ultimate objective is the 'stabilization of greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere at a level that would prevent dangerous anthropogenic interference with the climate system.
