You know the feeling. It's so rare to send real hand-written postcards these days, that every single one makes an impression. European Commissioner for the Environment, Stavros Dimas, needs our support right now. Will you send him a card?

UPDATE 08-May-2008:  It worked. There's no need to send any more postcards for now. Take a look see what happened at the European Commission on 07-May-2008.

What to write on your card
Send him a card to show you care. It could be a beautiful picture you took, or a postcard you bought, showing somebody or something important to your life. For example your family, your pet, your home, your city, beautiful scenery.

Urge and encourage Mr. Dimas to continue standing up for life, biodiversity, health, beauty of nature -- and against reckless industry giants aiming for nothing else than control of the world's food and biodiversity.

Express your concerns about the spread of GM crops and the plans of the biotech industry to grab control of the world’s food. Support and call on Mr. Dimas to ensure the utmost protection against the dangers of GMOs and to continue refusing authorisation for GM maize!

If you can't find the words, try drawing it.
