Toxic chemicals in our environment threaten our rivers and lakes, our air, land, and oceans, and ultimately ourselves and our future.

The production, trade, use, and release of many synthetic chemicals is now widely recognised as a global threat to human health and the environment.

Greener Electronics

The world is consuming more and more electronic products every year. This has caused a dangerous explosion in electronic scrap (e-waste) containing toxic chemicals and heavy metals that cannot be disposed ofor recycled safely. Cool IT Challenge

The Information Technology (IT) sector is uniquely positioned to help the world shift to a prosperous clean energy economy. Greenpeace launched the Cool IT Challenge in 2009 to call on IT companies to power technological solutions needed to fight climate change. The Cool IT Challenge is urging IT companies to put forth these innovative solutions, mitigate their own carbon footprint, and advocate for significant policy changes in the mutual interest of business and the climate.
