'Save the Climate' lanterns in Bihar

19 October 2010 - India. Monks from Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Tibetan and Korean amongst other monasteries joined the Urja Kranti Yatra in releasing hundreds of sky lanterns before the 80 foot statue of Buddha in Bodh Gaya, wishing for an energy revolution in Bihar. The lanterns read “Save the Climate. Act Now.” and call for renewable energy as a solution to Bihar's power crisis. Read more
