'Stop Coal Crimes' Banner at Charminar

Greenpeace activists unfurl a giant 60 x 20 foot banner from the balcony of the Charminar in Hyderabad hours after Minster of Environment and Forest Jayanthi Natarajan opened the United Nations summit on biodiversity in Hyderabad. The banner, displaying the Indian Prime Minister’s face reads: 'Stop Coal Crimes – Save Indian Forests.' The organisation demands that the Indian Government halts all new coal mining in forest areas. 10/08/2012
