UK Home Office: forest crime scene

Greenpeace activists declared the site of the UK's new Home Office Headquarters in 2003 an ancient forest crime scene, while climbers hung a banner from a crane reading "Rainforest Demolition Site". Greenpeace's undercover investigations revealed illegal wood being used in the restoration of public buildings and at the heart of government in the UK in 2002, 2003 and 2006.
