Electric Jeepney (right), the first public transport of its kind in Southeast Asia, and a traditional jeepney (left). The Electric Jeepney is launched in Makati City, by GRIPP (Green Renewable Independent Power Producer), Greenpeace, and the Makati City Government. The Electric Jeepneys, part of an innovative project led by GRIPP, are fossil fuels free to help mitigate climate change, while they address urban problems such as air pollution and solid waste.
