3D Artwork at World Fashion Centre in Amsterdam

Greenpeace activists join with PlanetStreet artists to unveil a 3D street painting at the World Fashion Centre in Amsterdam to mark the publication of "Dirty Laundry Reloaded" and raise awareness for the pollution caused by the fashion sector around the world. Greenpeace is calling on all fashion brands to "Detox" and eliminate all hazardous chemicals from their supply chain and products, and to respond to the urgency of the issue by setting clear and ambitious short-term deadlines for the elimination of the most toxic and hormone-disrupting substances.

The people of Dharnai village used to have a facility supplied by the state Government which provided electricity. This infrastructure hasn't been available for the last 33 years and diesel generators have been the only source of electricity.
