Pingdong County, Taiwan - A longliner is moored in a fishing port on Xiaoliuqiu Island, where a lack of protective and marine conservation measures pose threats to marine species. Taiwanese long-line fleets also venture out into the Pacific where they are poorly regulated and frequently engage in pirate fishing.
